Garman Kimmel Educational Outreach Program
Named after Kimray, Inc.'s founder and avid arts patron who constructed a device to record early performances of the Oklahoma City Symphony, the Garman Kimmel Educational Outreach Program provides funding exclusively for Allied Arts member agency projects benefiting Oklahoma schoolchildren in grades K-12. Projects supported by the program include scholarships for art camps, transportation costs for students to visit art exhibits, funding for artists to visit schools, and afterschool art activities.
Funding for 2011-2012 is closed and will resume in the fall of 2012.
Evaluation forms related to a previous educational grant must be completed in a timely manner upon completion of the project, and prior to submitting a new request.
