Is American Idol must-see TV at your house? Do your kids dream of being an Idol one day? Give them a head start by encouraging them to apply for Oklahoma City’s “Festival Idol.”

During the Festival of the Arts (April 20-25), 28 youth contestants will compete for the “Festival Idol” title. Each evening (Tuesday-Friday), seven contestants will showcase their vocal skills, dance moves and other talents on the children’s stage. One contestant each night will move on to Saturday’s “Festival Idol” finale. Saturday night, the “Festival Idol” will be crowned after another round of performances. 

Applications are due March 15. Please enclose a CD or DVD of your child performing. Click here download an application form.
