Allied Arts Presents “OPUS VII: ParTy Wow!”
Biennial event raises vital funds for the central Oklahoma arts community
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., July 24, 2012 – Allied Arts is gearing up for its biggest event of the year – biennial fundraiser, OPUS – to be held on October 26 at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club.
Co-chaired by Beverly and Mark Funke, and Jane and David Thompson, OPUS VII: Party Wow! promises to deliver the “wow factor” with energetic live music from the nationally renowned Pink Flamingos and a live auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Similar to OPUS VI, in place of a seated dinner, guests will enjoy an extensive buffet of gourmet food and drinks throughout the evening.
Sponsors and VIPs will have access to a patron pre-party from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. highlighted with premium food and drink, exclusive raffle opportunities and private entertainment. The main event will take place from 7:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.
All proceeds benefit Allied Arts and the arts organizations it supports to help make arts programing and education accessible to the entire community.
“OPUS is one of the best events in Oklahoma City,” said Mark Funke. “OPUS helps raise awareness and critically important funds that support youth arts education, quality exhibits and performances, and free and low-cost events for all. Guests and sponsors can come have a great time at the party of the year, and leave knowing that the contributions they made have a real, widespread impact throughout our community.”
Presenting Sponsors for OPUS VII are Devon Energy Corporation, New Dominion LLC and New Source Energy. Elite Sponsors include Gardner/Tanenbaum Holdings, Love’s Travel Stops and Lance Ruffle. Branding and graphic design work has been donated by Brothers & Company.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available and range from $500 to $25,000, and individual tickets can be purchased for $200 each. VIP passes for the pre-party are included in several of the sponsorship packages in various quantities, and extra passes can be purchased for an additional $100 each with the purchase of an individual ticket or sponsorship package.
Tickets can be purchased HERE, and both tickets and sponsorships can be purchased by calling (405) 278-8944 or visiting the Allied Arts office at 1015 N. Broadway, Suite 200 in Oklahoma City.
