More than 400 Guests Celebrate the Arts with Allied Arts OPUS XIII Club Cabaret: A New York Night Sets New Fundraising Record

Oklahoma City, OK – Allied Arts proudly announces the success of this year’s OPUS event, held on November 8 at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. Chaired by Dominique C. & Travis C. Mason and Katie & Taylor Shinn, OPUS XIII Club Cabaret: A New York Night brought together more than 400 guests in celebration of the arts and community.

Through sponsorships, ticket sales and art, silent and live auctions, the event raised $630,000, the most generated in any Allied Arts fundraising event. Allied Arts extends its sincere gratitude to OPUS lead sponsors whose generosity helped make the event possible: Spotlight Sponsor: Expand Energy; Master of Ceremonies: Glenna & Richard Tanenbaum; Act I: Cushman Wakefield I Commercial Oklahoma and Katie & Taylor Shinn; Act II: Candid Color, Caption Partners, The Chickasaw Nation, Devon Energy, Freestyle, Paycom, and the Whitaker, Brock, Kobs and Thomas families.

Bringing the New York City theme to life, OPUS immersed guests in Big Apple flair with a Statue of Liberty stilt walker, a street saxophonist, piano jazz lounge and Met-inspired dining room. The extensive cabaret lineup showcased the incredible local talent of Allied Arts-affiliated groups, Sooner Theatre, OKC Ballet, RACE Dance Collective and Lyric Theatre, alongside special guest performances by Broadway star Meghan Picerno and OK3, the trio who earned a four-chair turn on The Voice.

“We remain truly inspired by the extraordinary support OPUS received from corporate partners, foundations and individual donors,” said the Masons. “The generosity of event sponsors and guests reflects a deep commitment to strengthening the arts in our community.”

“This record-breaking event will have a lasting impact,” stated the Shinns. “The critical funds raised will directly support arts education, outreach and community programming across central Oklahoma, ensuring more people have access to meaningful arts experiences.”
